first entry of the year

I was driving on the 710 and saw a restaurant...
Q:
What is a luminaria?
MERRIAM-WEBSTERED THAT SHIZ.
A: "a traditional Mexican Christmas lantern originally consisting of a candle set in sand inside a paper bag"

I was watching Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's eve...
Q:
What happened to Dick Clark?
WIKIED THAT SHIZ.
A: He had a stroke in 2004. He had to re-learn how to walk and talk. It looks like he had plastic surgery, but it's not mentioned, even in Google searches.

I was showering after eating dinner and remembered a rumor...
Q:
Is it bad to shower right after eating?
GOOGLED THAT SHIZ.
A: It's a common rumor, but it doesn't seem to be true because there's no scientific evidence.

I was listening to a radio ad...
Q:
What does JC stand for in JC Penny?
WIKIED THAT SHIZ.
A: James Cash.

I was talking about carbonation cures...
Q:
Did they actually put cocaine in coke?
WIKIED THAT SHIZ. GOOGLED THAT SHIZ.
A: Yes! But not that much...we think.

I was watching "Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations..."
Q:
Does smellovision exist?
WIKIED THAT SHIZ.
A: Kind of? The closest thing to it was created by NTT Communications: "During 7 key moments throughout the film [The New World], scents were emitted by an internet server that was linked to the reel of film, effectively downloading the scent"
